Superbly situated, moments from Mylor Creek and the heart of its friendly village, Acorn Cottage is a well established holiday home in the Cornish Holiday Cottages portfolio.

Step outside in summer months into the natural ambience of the enclosed cottage garden, where floral scents dance in the warm air with the sounds of wildlife, and dining al-fresco is sure to become second nature.

Keeping little ones entertained is a breeze, with countless ways to while away the hours – like crabbing from nearby harbours, or rock pooling at Weir Beach. Closer to hand, they’ll love the village playground and green just across the road.

Pop on your wellies and explore the nearby creeksides and woodlands by foot. Walks in nature abound from the doorstep of Acorn Cottage, leading you through the many winding treelined pathways that end at a famous pub or restaurant. The 13th century, thatched Pandora Inn, just over a mile away, with its floating pontoon stretching out onto Restronguet Creek, is just one of the many local must-see spots within easy reach.

After a day of Cornish adventuring, come home to calming hues of blue and white. The coastal charm of the effortlessly chic interior is a breath of fresh air, and the living space is fantastically light filled thanks to the large bay window in the sitting room. A woodburner adds that extra touch of luxury and comfort, and the crackling of logs on the fire provide the perfect soundtrack as you, and the family dog, of course, unwind
after rewarding days out.
