  A wonderfully situated and decorated cottage in the heart of Falmouth. Comfortable, warm and perfect for our family of four. Lots of steps so not suitable for those of restricted mobility but that’s made clear. One of the best kitchens we’ve seen in a rental cottage and welcome pack most appreciated. Close to all central amenities so we didn’t drive unless going out of town. Off street parking and car charging a huge bonus but we suggest there should be instructions on how to use the charger, and the code sent in advance to avoid onsite queries. The location is central and so there is a little noise eg we could hear the local nightclub bass late into the night. Wasn’t a big deal but light sleepers may notice. In the whole a lovely break and wed book again!

  Great location for Christmas in Falmouth. There were even lights and a little tree, appreciated, and the wood burner was cosy. The wonderful views over the harbour and coastline from every widow, loved sitting in bed watching the boats. Newly furnished and so generously and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could have needed, doing more cooking than I might of done on holiday. One of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in. Would come again in summer and enjoy sitting in outside area.

  Elysium was a lovely cottage to stay in. It was so close to the main high street in Falmouth, so not too many hills to climb up! There were steps up to the. house, but we managed them fine with a baby, so they weren't an issue! The cottage was fully equipped with everything we could need, everything was clean and tidy and the view over the water was stunning. We even used the car charger for our car, which made the stay stress free from a charging perspective!

  Beautiful house, well decorated and thought out, and with just about everything you need for a perfect Cornwall holiday! The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into this holiday home. Comfortable, smart, an ideal location, and with amazing views. We will be back!

  Wow! What a beautiful home with outstanding views! Clean and well equipped. Very useful to have parking too. Short stroll downhill into Falmouth town and about 15 minutes to beach. Great home great location!

  The cottage was in a superb location with great views and easy to access all restaurants and shops easily.It was very clean, well maintained and provided everything we needed. Would highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

  Beautiful views and the position within Falmouth is good. Well furnished except it would have been nice to have access to a small folding side table which could be used as a "coffee table" or taken outside for impromptu coffee when the big outside dining table is not required because the weather is too unreliable. The steps up to the cottage need to be negotiated carefully if older or with mobility problems but are doable. The front patio is slightly disconcerting because, although very nicely tiled, it is almost impossible to discern where the step edges are when walking down from the front door. Room to turn the car at the end of Smethwick Hill and at the top in Vernon Place made using the car easier. Overall for us it was a good choice.

  Thank you for your feedback. I am so pleased that Elysium was a good choice for you. The views certainly are wonderful and all of the town's facilities, cafes and restaurants, just a short walk away. There are two small coffee tables in the sitting room and an outside table on the deck and one in the courtyard. The owners and I are a little confused by what you mean, but maybe you refer to a collapsible picnic table, so it can be used elsewhere? The steps up to the cottage are documented in the description and notes section, but due to the weather constraints on the shoot day, we have not yet taken a picture of the car parking and access, which we will now do.
