A stone’s throw from the piazza at Events Square, Falmouth’s hub of culture. From Four Sails step into wonder at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, or sample a different cuisine each evening with a range of restaurants to choose from on your doorstep.

Cornwall is famous for its beaches, and you’ll find three a short journey away. Your nearest is Castle Beach, but Gyllyngvase and Swanpool are just around the corner.

The tower of Pendennis Castle, a tudor fortress with a fascinating history can be glimpsed from all over town. Journey back in time as you walk across the battlements, with panoramic views out to sea.

The Helford River is where wild swimming adventures and sailing escapades await. The tree-lined banks here hide secret beaches, hidden creeks, and waterside pubs.

Surfers and thrill-seekers are catered to in this part of Cornwall, with the surfing beaches of the North Coast and the Lizard close by. Cycle from coast to coast along the Bissoe train starting in Devoran, just a 15 minute drive away.

This is the second time we have stayed at Four Sails. The property itself is great as regards location and accommodation layout and certainly has a wow factor but there are a few issues that stop it from being 5 star. On our first stay in 2023, the sofa was in need of replacement, being uncomfortable and in need of repair/refurbishment. That sofa is still there and nothing has changed as regards the condition of it. The sofa is a big feature of the open plan layout but is basically unusable. Not what you would expect in a 'luxury' apartment. Another issue for us on this visit was the unsightly mold and general cleanliness of the showers. We would like to return for another stay but...

We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the sofa and shower, though, and we really appreciate your feedback. If you ever notice an issue during your stay, please don’t hesitate to call our office or the 24/7 emergency line. We would have happily sent someone to give the shower an extra deep clean. Maintenance is part of our winter routine, and while grout or silicone can occasionally discolour, we’re here to fix it right away for you. We’ll ensure the shower gets a full inspection, a deep clean and resealing if needed. Regarding the sofa, we’ll discuss this with the property owners to explore potential improvements. If you’d like to return to Four Sails, we’d love to welcome you again. Alternatively, if you’re keen to try another property, we’d be happy to recommend some alternatives that match your preferences. This is the third time that we have stayed here and it is almost as good as ever. There are a few little bits where it looks slightly tired but nothing that would take off the five stars. It is a great place for families with plenty of space. It also has the added bonus of a lift which makes it very accessible for anyone with mobility issues. The location is excellent and it has a generous parking space.

Although the place is very convenient it was a little uncomfortable sofas need updating and the showers were not as clean as I would expect for the cost of property just a little tired cooker seals and oven degrading etc

Absolutely fabulous luxury holiday home in a brilliant location. Kitchen is very well equipped with quality appliances. Four Sails looked great in the photos but when you get there its even better, WOW. The lift was very useful for one of our party. Bedrooms are exceptional and a good size with fabulous en-suite facilities. We would definitely recommend Four Sails. 'Perfect' Looking forward to book again

A fantastic property equipped with every thoughtful high end appliance and bathroom facilities that you could hope for. The 3 ensuite bedrooms were luxurious and comfortable. For a multi-generational 6 person stay over the Christmas week the space was perfect. The lift proved particularly beneficial for my mother in-law, who has some mobility issues. Cooking and serving up Christmas dinner was a breeze and a joy. Having just moved into our own new home in late November we had always planned to spend Christmas in Falmouth (which we love) given that our new home would be in a bit of pickle. This turned out to be a great decision and made the Christmas break so much more enjoyable.

Location is fabulous, within walking distance of both the town and the beach. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The lift as an added bonus for anyone with mobility issues as it makes the whole apartment really accessible as everything else is on one level.

Excellent property. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms beautiful. The property is on one level upstairs and is good for those with mobility issues, with a lift to the first floor. Plenty of room, no wardrobes but plenty of drawers. Loved the mod cons - electric velux windows and blinds and automatic lights in hall and stairs. Would recommend highly.

The accommodation was excellent. Clean, modern and spacious. It was well equipped and had anything and everything one might need on holiday. The location was good, just a short walk from the shops and restaurants. The lift was a bonus and great for anyone with mobility issues. Also really easy to park, plenty of space for any family car.

Pets: Unfortunately, this holiday home and the whole of Campbeltown Way are unable to welcome dogs.

Lift: Please note that the lift is intended solely for the use of those with accessible needs. The lift must be kept ‘on’ at all times or it will trigger the backup battery to work, which can cause further problems. The lift should not be used as a toy by children, as they could become stuck inside it, with the emergency release procedures being needed to resolve the situation, that could be upsetting for everyone. Please do not attempt to hold open the doors or obstruct the doors with luggage or equipment. If you feel the lift will be of concern to your party, then please do give us a call and we’ll be happy to provide guidance.

Please note: Due to lease restrictions at the apartment we are only able to accept leisure bookings (ie non-business/commercial stays). Please note no vans of any type are permitted to stay overnight in the Harbour Village.
