Summary
Comfortable, centrally heated, self-catering accommodation – a great base for a family, or perhaps two couples.
Honeysuckle Corner kitchen opens onto the outside space with patio for dining alfresco and the sheltered, private, (enclosed and dog-friendly) garden. The accommodation is all on one level, but the access steps to the property make it unsuitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues.
Falmouth town is approximately 10 minutes on foot and the seafront can be reached in around 2 minutes. The Ships & Castles Leisure Centre (with pool and fitness suite) is just a short stroll, part way round the headland towards Pendennis Point and the look out spot over the shipyard.
With three bedrooms, a bathroom and an additional wc, this holiday home represents excellent value for money and is centrally appointed for all of Falmouth’s great restaurants, events throughout the year and the harbour. Castle Beach is your nearest spot for a dip, rock pool and/or an ice cream – how lovely to be less than five minutes from saltwater and invigorating fresh air.

Location and Surrounding Area
Set within the side of Pendennis Point, Honeysuckle Corner is within striking distance of all the qualities that make a stay in Falmouth so memorable – from the sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters of the sea nearby, to the bustling buzz of the harbour and the town.
Set off early and explore on foot before taking a ferry from the quayside to St Mawes or Flushing, and look back over Falmouth from the water. Stride out on the famous South West Coast Path, where verdant hillsides give way to ocean vistas that get better with each corner you turn, and where waves lap the rocks below through gaps in the gorse.
Being within walking distance of Falmouth’s famous beaches means urban coastal fun is right on your doorstep. The town has three beaches, each with a secret charm to suit your whim. Perhaps you’ll enjoy the rock pools and coves of Castle Beach, or the sweep of Gyllyngvase with its safe swimming waters and lively café/restaurant. Swanpool suits the more adventurous, and kayaks and paddleboards can be hired for
excursions or picnics on the water.
Head into Falmouth and see what all the fuss is about. Restaurants with rave reviews and coffee shops with accolades aplenty line the pretty streets. Independent retailers from quirky bookshops to fashion boutiques are waiting to be discovered. Renowned for its year-round appeal, a calendar bursting with events ensures there’s something to see and do within walking distance every weekend. You’ll find jazz nights at the Poly,
oyster festivals at Events Square and comedy performances at Princess Pavilion, to name just a few.
And when the day is done and the sun has faded, watch the lights from boats in the harbour twinkle while you follow the moon back to your cottage, letting your words float on the sea breeze as you recount the day’s fun.
