Gylly Beach Café

Placed proudly on Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth, the award-winning Gylly Beach Café offers beachside banqueting with unbeatable sparkling views.

A seat on the heated terrace is the perfect place for a speciality coffee, rich hot chocolate or a big glass of wine.

In the morning the Café is open for early breakfasts and long lazy brunches. From savoury waffles to indulgent Full Cornish breakfasts, there’s no better way to enjoy a morning than feasting beside the ocean after an early dip.

Come lunchtime, diners can indulge in generous classics such as Cornish steak burger or small plates of hummus and triple cooked chips, paired with a glass of Camel Valley Sparkling Brut.

When the evening draws in the laid back vibe gives way to ambient coastal dining. The impressive fish bar with its locally-caught produce is well worth sampling; try Mylor crab, St Ives Bay scallops or line-caught Falmouth mackerel served simply with buttered Cornish corn on the cob. Masterchef: The Professionals quarter finalist Dale McIntosh prepares Cornish seafood with flair, while meaty specials include roasted rump of West Country Lamb.

Calm waters, eager paddle boarders and soaring seabirds are just a few of the uplifting sights to soak in while dining at Gylly Beach Café, and during the day, Gylly Beach Hut Bakery serves olive-laced focaccia, light brioche buns and classic fougasse a la Provencale.
