Summary
You can feel the joy of past meals, family occasions and jovial times emanating through this house. Dine next to the floor to ceiling, living room windows. The jaw-dropping sea views and warmth from the comfortable interior encompasses you and the holiday vibe flows.
Carrick Treath is an idyllic holiday home by the beach for a large family or group – even the family dog is welcome. The accommodation is well-planned, spacious and furnished to a high standard throughout.
The established, south-facing, enclosed gardens enjoy fabulous uninterrupted views of the water. A more divine spot for those who love water-sports – being just meters from the beach – is hard to imagine. There is a wet room for storage of wet weather gear, sailing accessories, wetsuits, etc. as well as a double shower.
Loe Beach is for swimming, sailing, kayaking and paddle-boarding – Loe Beach Water-sports Centre and (seasonal) Cafe supports with their friendly tuition, equipment hire and good food. If you prefer to observe the deep blue from a gentler incline, put your feet up at Carrick Treath and enjoy from the terrace, as the sea birds dip and dive and you breathe in the ‘Vitamin Sea’.
If you can bear to tear yourself away, Falmouth is approximately 10 miles and Truro 6; both offer good shopping facilities, restaurants and entertainment in the forms of museums, cinemas, play parks and art galleries.
Due to its huge popularity, we advise booking well in advance for this marvellous, self-catering holiday home.

Location and Surrounding Area
Feock, home to the King Harry Ferry and the National Trust’s Trelissick Garden is surrounded by wood fringed creeks and enjoys the calm and serenity of the River Fal. The nearby Punchbowl and Ladle at Penelewy serves excellent food, or take the King Harry (car and passenger) Ferry across the river to St. Mawes and explore all that this picturesque village has to offer.
Carrick Treath is moments away from the tidal Loe Beach. A host of beaches lie just a short distance away, from the surf-spots on the north coast (45 mins) to blue-flag beaches and quite sandy coves in Falmouth ad the Helford River.
Truro and Falmouth in opposite directions offer good shopping facilities and opportunities to eat out are aplenty. Although once settled into life at Carrick Treath, you’ll be forgiven if you never want to leave.
