Making Memories

Memory Wall

Memories are made in Cornwall. We’re so proud of the fact that for over 40 years we’ve helped our guests make memories that last a lifetime. From the romances that have blossomed alongside the Helford, to fun-filled family moments in Falmouth. We love the part we play in helping you connect with one another in this beautiful corner of Cornwall.

We’d love to hear all about your holiday. If you’d like to share a memory to our wall, simply send your photos or words to us at

Keep making those happy memories…

Sharon & Andy, Staying at Coastguards

Our wonderful view of Falmouth Bay from the verandah. A beautiful room to sit and relax in and enjoy the panoramic views of the bay.

Debbie, Staying at Gwel-an-Heylyn

Our favourite memory, our view from the verandah (and lounge and bedroom) of Gwel-an Heylyn, where we have had our second most amazing holiday and are already booked for next Summer. Such a wonderful ‘escape’ in the most beautiful holiday home.

Rachel, Staying at Coastguards

Some photos of the wonderful views at different times of the day across the bay from our stay at Coastguards near Pendennis Point, July 2021. From the vibrant colours to the tropical plants, we truly felt as though we were abroad! Inspiring! Thanks, Rachel.

Sue, Staying at Upper Deck

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Upper Deck, the ability to launch a kayak from the jetty below the apartment and paddle up the Helford River was just amazing. I took this photo one calm evening on the opposite side of the creek, looking towards Quay House. We hope to return to this beautiful, peaceful spot. You can sit all day just watching the changing scene of the tidal creek, it is so relaxing. Thank you Cornish Holidays. Sue, John, Francesca and Kate.

Natalie & Family, staying at Victoria Quay 2

We love this property for its proximity to the sea. This ground floor apartment has its very own small balcony with steps directly onto the beach or into the sea - depending on the tide. We have enjoyed the quietness and the views for several years and will continue to do so. The ever-moving scenery is lovely. And all so close to the town. This year we all had a go at paddleboarding with varying success!!! The ease of getting on and off the board at high or low tide is the best. Then up the steps to the cosy indoors and a yummy Cornish pasty. What more could you want from a holiday. We will be back!

Lettie, staying at Fishers Hut

"It was a trip back to childhood for me, memories of family and sunshine and music in the car. Being around the little beaches, collecting shells, the air, the beautiful quality of light. I was thrilled to see Falmouth so as it used to be, fell in love all over again with St Mawes, with Mousehole, with Feock and St Just in Roseland. The accom was exquisite. We needed space to relax, to read, and to just settle away from stressful demanding jobs. It offered us that. I even had a cry when I left!! Thank you SO much."

Heather and Ivor, Staying at Cormorants

After all the stresses and strains of working for the NHS the last few months, I was nervous my holiday wouldn't live up to expectations. But when I arrived, this view took my breath away and has invigorated me for the next round when I return to work next week. I could never tire of it. Thank you all!
