Little Nest is the perfect place for a holiday, especially if you love the Cornish coast and countryside which surrounds this property! You look down to a beautiful beach from the lounge and balcony at the front and from the kitchen and decking at the rear of the apartment you enjoy a wonderful green landscape providing the best of nature. And, that’s all enclosed in a stunning private garden. The owner is always available should you need anything and always offers a very warm welcome to the spacious but cosy holiday home.

The location, sitting just above the Maeporth beach, is wonderful. A simple walk down the drive takes you directly onto the beach for a very pleasant stroll. Footpaths either side of the beach take you up onto the cliff path with wonderful views.
The property itself enjoys two balconies so plenty of room for your pooch to run around or simply sit in the sun. Little Nest contains a breakfast bar, a relaxing lounge area, bathroom and bedroom - everything you could want! Even a DVD player if you want to switch off from the world.
Above all Anne, Little Nest's host, is wonderful. She truly cares about her guests without being intrusive. Not only does she offer advice about the local area but leaves lots of treats for both guests and their pooches to enjoy on their arrival. Couldn't have asked for a better host.

Our nineteenth visit .and hopefully ,age and health permitting ,we'll continue to visit every year We have found Anne to be wonderful in every way . Her attention to detail in the flat is more than impressive. It is always immaculate and welcoming. We never look at other options because we feel we've found the very best. Other options may be tempting as regards location and/or price but Little Nest has a beach and many scenic walks just minutes away. You definitely need to visit. You certainly won't be disappointed.

Warm clean and comfortable, the views down on to the beach from the lounge and bedroom were great.
Anne was the perfect host, and although we did not need anything, nothing seemed too much trouble to ensure we had a good stay.
Would definitely stay again.

Little Nest is well located, overlooking the beach. Its facilities were in excellent working order. The bed was comfortable. The view of the beach was a delight. It was warm (the weather was not great). The owner was very helpful and welcoming. I cannot think of anything that could have been improved upon.
It is fantastic to hear that our Little Nest was an excellent place to stay for your holiday. Thank you for your glowing review, it certainly is an ideal place so close to Maenporth Beach and we are lucky to have Anne, as such a welcoming owner. Great location, welcome and beach. Couldn’t fault it. Anne was a great host and make sure we had everything, little nest has a super view of the beach with cafe and nice coastal walk to swanpool and Falmouth

In respect of everything you would need ‘thought of’ - perfect. Wonderful setting above the beach giving lovely sound of the sea to sing you to sleep. Very comfortable. However, the best thing about Little Nest is Anne, the owner. She is warm and friendly, but discreet.
We hade a wonderful week here and will return.

This is a fabulous place for a holiday beside the sea in Cornwall. The apartment has amazing views, is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Great location for exploring all of Cornwall.

Little Nest has everything you can possible want from a holiday cottage. It is situated in a wonderful position with views of the sea and the accommodation itself is very comfortable.
The hosts Anne and Terry made us feel very welcome and left us some Cornish products for when we arrived, which is very thoughtful.

I remembered I had not submitted a review of our last Little Nest stay back in June.
I'm always a bit undecided as to doing this, not because there are any issues, but selfishly I don't want too many people to know how good Little Nest is at the risk of us not being able to get it again in years to come. Anyway here it is:
Back at Little Nest on what must be our 10th visit in c8 years, and 15/16s years of total bookings with Cornish Holiday Cottages who are also so very good.
We were down in the Newquay area for a week prior and on transfer day Anne telephoned us to say Little Nest was all good to go several hours before normal takeover. They must have really pushed on getting things ready, and still ensuring Covid standard cleaning routines.
Arrived and everything as normal all **** and span, spotless and the usual kind touches, warm welcome from Anne & Terry and their bouncy dogs, lots of fuss for our two dogs who know where they are immediately and what the routine is. Annes special touches of lovely bread, Cornish butter/milk, homemade marmalade and doggy treats.
You do not have to bring anything here it's all there from kitchen roll/foil, bin bags to well equipped quality, kitchen, bathroom. bedroom living room.
We just love it, settle in immediately and we are back in our second home. Neighbours, beach cafe, Cove and new owners at the little shop in Mawnan all welcomed us back.
Read the book on the Helford River (bought at Cornish Holiday Cottages office last year) and found much of new interest and history about Maenporth, inc. the ancient (neolithic) site just up the lane. You don't need to stray far, Falmouth, Trebah, St Just, St Anthony and Heligan were about as far as we got. It is so pleasant just to sit and watch the beach/cove with a fruit juice or two! and take the dogs on the beach early morning/evening.

Back in 2023 (twice) and most likely before that as well, if we can squeeze in between the other regulars.

We’ve enjoyed another fabulous holiday at the Little Nest, beside the beautiful Cornish coast. No matter what time of year we visit, whatever the weather, we just love spending time at the apartment and enjoying the beach and countryside right outside the door! It is certainly an idyllic spot where you listen to the waves lapping the shore as you fall asleep, the owls sometimes hooting in the night and the wren singing it’s heart out in the morning. There is so much to enjoy around the Falmouth area but obviously, it is also an ideal base for exploring the whole of Cornwall.
The owners are superb hosts, always so welcoming, the accommodation is fabulous, cosy and extremely well-equipped.

Great location, wonderful friendly hosts, but unfortunately cleanliness was not up to the standard expected
Without going into detail we would say that the whole place could do with a deep clean and refresh
I am delighted that you enjoyed the wonderful location and friendly hosts. If you have some photos to share of the cleaning matters you mention then please do send these on. I have been to inspect Little Nest today and I found the apartment immaculate and presented exactly as the photos. If you ever do have an issue again, with my agency, or any other, then please do always notify us, as we are here on hand, 24/7 to attend to any issues, no matter how small. Such a perfect holiday home, everything thought of and lovely hosts on hand available to help and offer advice for local interests. Visited in the dead of winter and the apartment was perfectly lovely and warm, we didn't even need all the heaters on!
Beautiful views over the beach and so wonderfully situated for Falmouth, Mawnan and the Helford Passage.
