Summary

The Little Nest is without a doubt the most chosen one-bedroom holiday home in the Cornish Holiday Cottages portfolio. Anne and Terry, our very own Superhosts are integral to this popularity. They reside in the adjacent house ‘The Nest’ and will ensure that all is sparkling clean and warm and welcoming for your arrival.

This purpose-built holiday home is situated in an elevated position, above the golden sands of Maenporth Beach and just a few feet from the southwest coastal path, where you will enjoy breath-taking sea views, quiet coves and incredible scenery.

Maenporth Beach and its café are a great source of crab rolls, hot drinks and ice-creams. For fine dining, The Cove Restaurant is less than 300m away. In March 2020 The Cove opened under the new ownership of the renowned Michael Caines. You may find yourself on their decking with a sundowner G&T more than once!

Back at the Little Nest you have two outside seating areas on either side of the accommodation giving you ample opportunity for enjoying those warm, sunny days and relaxing with that book you’ve been longing to read.

No stone has been left unturned when it comes to guest comfort in this charming holiday home. So dig out your walking boots, your swimwear and treat yourself and your favourite, (human, canine, or both) to a getaway at this south Cornwall slice of heaven.

We’ve enjoyed another fabulous holiday at the Little Nest, beside the beautiful Cornish coast. No matter what time of year we visit, whatever the weather, we just love spending time at the apartment and enjoying the beach and countryside right outside the door! It is certainly an idyllic spot where you listen to the waves lapping the shore as you fall asleep, the owls sometimes hooting in the night and the wren singing it’s heart out in the morning. There is so much to enjoy around the Falmouth area but obviously, it is also an ideal base for exploring the whole of Cornwall. The owners are superb hosts, always so welcoming, the accommodation is fabulous, cosy and extremely well-equipped.
