Self-catering holiday homes in Cornwall are often described as “by the sea” but this delightful apartment really couldn’t be any closer to the water! From the small balcony off the living room, steps lead directly onto the beach at low tide (care will need to be taken with small children).

This ground floor apartment in the waterside development of Packet Quays in Falmouth is ideally suited to those who can manage a few steps but want to sit back, relax and enjoy the uninterrupted views. Sailing yachts and other pleasure boats provide an ever-changing scene whatever the weather.

This holiday home is well maintained, comfortably furnished and well equipped with gas central heating and double glazing. Falmouth town center, with all its amenities, is just a few minutes walk.

Natalie & Family, staying at Victoria Quay 2

We love this property for its proximity to the sea. This ground floor apartment has its very own small balcony with steps directly onto the beach or into the sea - depending on the tide. We have enjoyed the quietness and the views for several years and will continue to do so. The ever-moving scenery is lovely. And all so close to the town. This year we all had a go at paddleboarding with varying success!!! The ease of getting on and off the board at high or low tide is the best. Then up the steps to the cosy indoors and a yummy Cornish pasty. What more could you want from a holiday. We will be back!

From Packet Quays not only do you get an ever changing vision of superb sun-rises, wonderful ships and boats of all types, but also the occasional confused duck! We love it and keep coming back
