Swanpool Beach

Swanpool beach is a popular spot for the locals, who can often be seen swimming in the early morning all year round. At low tide there are rockpools to explore, and the water is more often than not crystal-clear and inviting.

Enjoy fine-dining at Hooked on the Rocks, which overlooks the beach and had views of great scenery beyond. Take tea at Swanpool Cafe, and hire watersports equipment from Elemental. The Beach is well-served with facilities including a car-park, public conveniences, and water-bottle refill station.

Swanpool Beach sits beside Swanpool Lake, a site of special scientific interest and a local beauty-spot. Little ones will love feeding the ducks and swans, whilst keeping an eye out for rare wildlife.

Lizzi's favourite...

“This sheltered sandy cove is one for the whole family to enjoy. Great for building sandcastles, hiring kayaks and even partaking in a game of crazy golf. Be sure to visit the beach cafe for a post-swim clotted cream covered Cornish ice cream…. yes you heard that correctly… and you are welcome!”
