  Victoria Quay 6 is nice apartment but in need of a little update. Hive heating is temperamental, the ensuite shower didn't work and the main bathroom needs silicone replacing at bottom of bath. For anyone elderly the steps from the steps from the apartment to the High St are a challenge if you are walking to shopping area. Lounge, bedrooms and kitchen were ok comfortable settee's and kitchen well equipped. Position overlooking water is very nice

  Thank you for your feedback. We're really glad you enjoyed the lovely views over the harbour, it’s certainly one of the highlights of staying at Victoria Quay 6. We’re grateful that you called us on the day before your departure to let us know about the issue with the en-suite shower. As you were happy to use the main bathroom in the meantime, we arranged for the shower to be inspected (and replaced) on the changeover day, so your stay wouldn’t be further disrupted. Silicone does tend to discolour in the Cornish climate and particularly in holiday homes where the windows are not left open. We tend to address these areas annually, so you can be sure this will be dealt with as soon as time allows. While the property’s high position gives those beautiful harbour views, we completely understand that the steps might be challenging for some. Packet Quays is at the hilly end of Falmouth town and nestled on the harbour banks, however we will add further details to the property’s webpage, so that this is clear for all.   We really loved it. Very well equipped, quiet and comfortable with a fabulous view of the estuary. The tiles in the en suite shower do need attention but not really a problem. Getting into the car park became easier each day, it is a little tight. Would definitely book it again.

  The location of this property is absolutely fantastic and we had a lovely stay there. The decor is a little bit tired but that didn't put us off. There were a couple of missing/broken items when we arrived, which we have reported to the agency.

  We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the wonderful location just off the Old High Street, providing easy access to Falmouth harbour, shops, and restaurants. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Regrettably the spare light bulbs in the property did not fit the bedside lamp and you found two cracked glasses. We aim to have spares available in each property for guests and we are sorry this didn’t happen in this instance. As you know we did offer to send replacements at the time, which you declined. Thank you for setting aside the two cracked glasses so that we could take them away and replace with new ones. Following the bank holiday, we promptly arranged for new bulbs to be sent over on Tuesday morning. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Falmouth in the future.   The apartment is a great location with good parking for 1 medium car. It's well equipped, quiet and the views of the Quay are amazing. Walking distance to good choice of attractions, shops, pubs. Cleaning and maintenance could be improved. Overall a good place to stay.

  There was mould on the shower tiles and large cobwebs in the corners of the sitting room. Tv signal was intermittent

We know that during your stay in Falmouth, the area was experiencing high pressure that was having an intermittent impact on TV signals particularly in properties that are close to the sea. We are sad to hear some areas of your housekeeping may have fallen short and we would have loved to have had the opportunity to send our caretaking team back to rectify this for your stay. With this particular property, the housekeeper has been changed since your stay and the tiles have been deep cleaned. We hope you will be back to stay with us again.   A perfect location, well equipped and comfortable accommodation; the only downside is the top floor setting with requires negotiating a flight of stairs.

  It was perfect apart from feeling a bit damp at first and black mould on the bedroom window frame.

We inspected the apartment recently and the bedroom window frames you mention have been thoroughly cleaned. No damp was found but now we are in the colder months we will make sure the apartment is warmed through before our guests arrive.   Apartment is lovely, shame standards have slipped dishwasher had stains on outside and kitchen cupboard doors. Also shower and bath had hair in and the basin tap bases not cleaned

  We have stayed there a number of times and greatly appreciate the upgrading. Perhaps a little rushed in the en-suite. But it all looks great and functions really well. The heating system was complicated and despite best efforts it still came on unnecessarily . Only reason to loose a star

  For us, the view is paramount, and you can't improve on the setting here. The accommodation also has to be more comfortable than being at home. This apartment is clean and comfortable with good bedrooms , bathrooms and living area. Even the kitchen has an awesome view !

  The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a good range of electrical appliances. The views were stunning and the location was excellent for walking access to the town centre. The slight downside was the lack of opening windows and the tight access to the parking space.

  The best accommodation of the Packet Quay selection. The beds and bedding are particularly commendable. Some of the equipment (cutlery, crockery etc) is a little bit "holiday let" and could be updated.

  The windows all need replaced and the heating system could not get to the control box. Very dark in the living room as the nights draw in, could not read or do our jigsaw puzzles.
